DESCRIPTION:The Colorado Black Chamber of Commerce\, in partnership with Daniel's College of Business with Denver University and Denver's Economic Development and Opportunity office\, will be hosting a FREE event for all CBCC members to learn more about the Building Success: Entrepreneur Power Development Series as well as participate in two sessions geared toward small-business owners.  Learn how to generate new product & service innovation ideas as well as the challenges of cybersecurity. \n\n\nSession #1:  How to Generate 500 New Product & Service Innovation Ideas\n\nEvery business is centered around a great business idea.  But finding that great business idea can be a real challenge.  In this session\, we'll explore a number of ideation and innovation strategies and actually generate over 500 new product & service innovation ideas.  We'll post them all on the walls and you can take any of them you wish and launch a successful business venture or integrate them into your existing business model.\n\n \n\nSession #2:  Challenges of Cybersecurity:  Business Threats & Mitigation Strategies\n\nEvery day companies are faced with security and privacy breaches that cause significant damage to their business\, finances\, and reputation. Cybercriminals have become extremely adept at breaching company networks\, websites\, and mobile devices. The result\,  exploitation of key assets such as customer data\, intellectual property\, and critical company and financial information. It is important for business owners to understand these security threats and to identify potential vulnerabilities. \n\nThis session will provide an overview of the tactics cybercriminals/hacker use to gain unauthorized access to a company's digital assets.
