DESCRIPTION:Attend this event to learn about the legislative process\, garner helpful tips about effective advocacy\, understand current education bills with likely impacts on charter schools\, and visit the Capitol to engage with your elected officials.\n\n \n\nCharter middle and high school schools from across the state are encouraged to bring a group of students (8-10 students per school) to participate in this important day. Additionally\, charter school parents\, teachers\, administrators\, board members\, and supporters are all welcome to attend.\n\n\n\nThe more charter school advocates who attend\, the stronger the message we send to legislators about the importance of charter public schools and their students.\n\n\n\nTravel subsidies are available on a first-come\, first-served basis
